The campaign also focuses on the positive actions individuals and organizations throughout the U.S. can take to advance #healthywork.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Healthy Work Campaign<\/strong> is a project of the <a href=\"https:\/\/unhealthywork.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Center for Social Epidemiology (CSE)<\/a>. The CSE, founded in 1988, is a non-profit organization that has been conducting epidemiological research on the effects of work-related stress on mental health and cardiovascular disease in the U.S. and promoting public health efforts to prevent work stress-related health consequences.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Mission Section (Text)&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mission\">Mission<\/h3>\n<p>To advance the important work of the CSE and support other organizations invested in improving work, we\u2019re initiating <strong>the Healthy Work Campaign with the MISSION<\/strong> to:<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 20px;\" class=\"text-highlight-green centered-text-highlight\">Reduce harmful work stressors <span id=\"mission-page-centered-text-highlight\"><br \/><\/span><em>and<\/em> Improve job quality &amp; health in the U.S.<\/div>\n<p><strong>We are doing this<\/strong> by serving as a clearinghouse for research <em>and<\/em> actively translating that research into more easily understood resources, accessible tools, and actionable steps to promote healthy work.<\/p>\n<p>We want <strong>to inspire <\/strong>working people, business leaders, labor leaders, and other stakeholders to advance #healthywork for all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>With your help<\/strong>, we can begin to prevent and reduce work-related mental health problems, cardiovascular disease, and injuries in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p><em>Want to learn more about our campaign goals? Keep reading.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Goals Section (Text)&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"goals\">Goals<\/h3>\n<p><strong>To achieve the Healthy Work Campaign (HWC) Mission to improve job quality and health, the campaign team and partners seek to:<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol id=\"mission-page-goals-list\">\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthywork.org\/resources\/\">EDUCATE<\/a><\/u><\/strong><br \/>Educate working people and other stakeholders (employers, labor leaders, regulators, journalists, educators, and others) about how work in the U.S. impacts our psychological and physical health, as well as the social and financial costs to our organizations, communities, and nation. We also want all stakeholders to learn about the many solutions that are available to promote healthy work.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthywork.org\/for-individuals\/healthy-work-survey-individuals\/\">ASSESS<\/a><\/u><\/strong><br \/>Assess the workplace for unhealthy work stressors, using online, user-friendly tools available to both individuals and organizations. The HWC is developing a <strong>Healthy Work Survey<\/strong>, an online, work stress assessment tool that will provide individuals or organizations with a detailed and tailored report about their unique levels of work stress.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthywork.org\/resources\/healthy-work-tools\/\">EQUIP<\/a><\/u><\/strong><br \/>Equip workers and organizations with <strong>Healthy Work Tools<\/strong> including interventions that can be used to promote healthy work, healthy organizations and healthy people.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthywork.org\/take-action\/\">INSPIRE ACTION<\/a><\/u><\/strong><br \/>Inspire action from all stakeholders\u2014to share the message about healthy work, implement organizational change, and participate collectively to promote healthy work throughout the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Team Section (Text)&#8221;
