Today, our partner, the Southern California NIOSH Education and Research Center (SCERC) will be hosting the first of three virtual teaching seminars, presented by an author from The Lancet‘s “Work and Health” paper series (published this past October).
Today’s guest lecture, presented by co-author Norito Kawakami, MD, PhD is titled: Improving Mental Health in the Workplace: The Case of Japan. It will take place from 5-6:30 pm PST (8-9:30 pm EST).
Dr. Norito Kawakami is currently a Project Professor of Digital Mental Health at the University of Tokyo in Japan, after having retired as Professor and Chair of the Department of Mental Health at the School of Public Health of the University. He is also the President of the Junpukai Foundation in Japan.
Having worked as a researcher in epidemiology in the field of mental health, especially in the workplace, and has published over 400 research papers in international journals.
