This week marks the Workers Memorial Week, the week leading up to Workers Memorial Day, annually observed in the United States on April 28th since 1970.

Workers Memorial Day is a time to:

  • remember those who lost their lives in the previous calendar year, as well as those injured or suffered illnesses as a result of work
  • to come together to spread awareness and take action to reduce needless workplace deaths

Our partner National COSH is a leader in the occupational safety and health movement (naturally) and has organized a number of resources on their Workers’ Memorial Week page.

Tomorrow, April 25th, 2024 at 11am PT/2pm ET, National COSH will host their annual Dirty Dozen Report release event, in which they announce the top 12 companies nominated by their Network partners for their unsafe and unfair treatment of workers. RSVP for the event here.
