Ellen Rosskam, PhD, MPH
Dr. Ellen Rosskam is Senior Strategist for Research & Global Public Health with the Healthy Work Campaign and the Center for Social Epidemiology. Since 2006, Dr. Rosskam has worked on a variety of projects with Center staff and has written numerous publications jointly with them, including Unhealthy Work: Causes, Consequences, Cures.
Dr. Rosskam has over 30 years of experience as a global public health, occupational health and social protection specialist working at the nexus of health and policy development with diverse partnerships focused on health. Ellen was most recently the Coordinator of the International Geneva Global Health Platform at the Global Health Centre, Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland, and before that held various roles at the World Health Organization and International Labor Organization. She has conducted research, taught at university level, and has published numerous scientific publications and books. She is an International Board member of New Solutions: A Journal of Environmental and Occupational Health Policy, and Board member of the Center for Social Epidemiology.
